Salary: M/UPR £28,000 to £43,685 plus TLR2c £7,368 pa, plus recruitment and retention allowance of £1,338 (TLR subject to review)
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Studio West is an exciting studio school, which opened in September 2014. As part of Northern Leaders Trust, Studio West cater for around 550 students aged between 11 and 19 with student numbers increasing year on year. We are expected to reach 650 at full capacity.
The ethos of Studio West is enshrined in ‘Learning that connects.’ The principle that learning must constantly connect school with the real world is at the very core of everything we do. Rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2019, we have close working relationships with our business partners and our mission is to make sure that every student who leaves Studio West, does so with a university place, an apprenticeship or employment.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated mathematician to lead our broad and balanced Mathematics curriculum, to inspire our students to appreciate the subject and its application.
The role requires an outstanding and confident classroom practitioner of Mathematics who is able to demonstrate the very highest standards of teaching. If you are the person we are looking for you will be able to demonstrate:
- The ability to lead by example and drive performance to achieve high quality outcomes
- The ability to use data effectively and present views and opinions in discussion
- The ability to challenge, give feedback and accept feedback constructively
- The ability to demonstrate high expectations and to instill these in others
